Grand Junction

Grand Junction, Colorado is located on the Western side of the Rocky Mountains in the United States. It is the county seat of Mesa County, located about 200 miles West from the State Capitol in Denver. Its name comes from the early 20th Century name for the Colorado River, the Grand. Junction refers to the confluence of the Green River with the Colorado. Population in July 2007: 48,425.
