Bobby Rush is a congressman from the South Side of Chicago. He supported Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's nomination of Roland Burris to the U.S. Senate in December 2008, after President-Elect Barack Obama vacated that seat.
Bobby Rush defeated Barack Obama by more than a 2-1 margin in the primary in 2000.[1]
