Adrian M. Fenty

Adrian M. Fenty (D. C., December 6, 1970 - ) is the Mayor of the District of Columbia. He attended Oberlin College before earning a Juris Doctorate from Howard University Law School. Fenty took office in January 2007.
“I think even the mayor will admit that the schools have been so neglected that we're really talking about peanuts in terms of making them look like we want to educate children.”
Fenty is married to Michelle Fenty; they have twin sons Matthew and Andrew, and a daughter Aerin.
Fenty is also a long-distance runner and regularly takes part in triathlons.
