Integrity is the property of being faithful to what you believe in or the values you are sworn to uphold. Integrity as a character or personality trait is defined as someone that is honest and truthful in what they say or do. A person with integrity is typically one with honesty, sense of duty, and sound moral principles above all else.[1]

The word "integrity" can also be used to describe an object that is complete and sound. For example: The integrity of the roof was not compromised by the hail storm.
