Square Enix Company, Limited is a maker of video games based in Japan. Its best-known franchises include Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Seiken Densetsu (also known as Secret of Mana), and Kingdom Hearts.
Square Enix is the result of a merger between Square Co. (known in the U.S. as Square Soft) and Enix in 2003.
