I don't think the merger should happen. Continuity is first introduced in calculus, to be sure, but it's also the backbone of topology and needs to have a separate page to deal with these two degrees of usage. -Foxtrot 16:48, 5 December 2008 (EST)
1/x is continuous
The text is wrong. The function f(x) = 1/x, with the non-zero reals as domain, is a continuous function. Sunda62 14:54, 13 July 2010 (EDT)
