Bill Brady was a conservative Republican nominee for governor of Illinois in 2010. He is solidly pro-life, pro-Second Amendment and for cutting government spending.

Unlike most nominees for statewide office, Bill Brady is from downstate Illinois and spent no money on media ads in Chicago and lost by a small margin to incumbent Pat Quinn.
