Parish
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Aschlafly (talk | contribs) at 18:09, March 18, 2012. It may differ significantly from current revision.
A parish is local religious or governmental unit within a broader organizational structure, as in:
- a parish of the Catholic Church is an individual church with its own pastor, operating within a larger diocese
- a parish in Louisiana, a heavily Catholic state, is equivalent to a county in other states.
