The Phoenix Coyotes are a hockey team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Coyotes started in the NHL as the Winnipeg Jets and were moved to the city in 1996. The Coyotes play at the Jobing.com Arena, in Glendale. They are coached and partially owned by an all-time great of Hockey, Wayne Gretzky.
