Jamie Raskin is the Democratic party representative from Maryland's 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House. The district is located in Montgomery County, an affluent suburban county northwest of Washington, D.C.. He was first elected to Congress in 2016.

Raskin is vice chair of the Committee on House Administration and serves on the Committee on the Judiciary and Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Raskins is co-sponsor of the Green New Deal and the communist Medicare for All bill.

Raskin advanced the subversive domestic terrorist myth that the 2016 presidential election was stolen.[1]
