Later on, David remembered the kindness shown to him by Jonathan and in turn, showed kindness to Jonathan’s son. Sometimes, it may be hard to show kindness. Kindness is a positive quality and behavior of treating others in a kind, fair, caring manner; being friendly, generous, considerate, and charitable in word and deed. True kindness is an altruistic virtue and act done with no ulterior intent, coming from a place of love in the heart.
Kindness is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. The fruits of the Spirit are perfections that the Holy Spirit forms in us as the first fruits of eternal glory. The tradition of the Roman Catholic Church lists twelve of them.
