Having accomplished everything he set out to accomplish in just one term, Governor Blunt will not stand for re-election in 2008.  Many in the state were amazed that he accomplished his two most ambitious goals in only four years:  (1) kicking 80,000 freeloading poor people off of Medicaid and (2) destroying his own political career.  Cheers, jackass.

Matthew Roy "Matt" Blunt (born November 20, 1970) was elected Governor of Missouri on November 2, 2004. Blunt is currently, as of 2007, the youngest Governor in the United States. He is a member of the Republican party and the son of House Minority Whip Roy Blunt.
