The Montréal Canadiens are a professional ice hockey team based in Montréal, Québec. The Canadiens are the oldest NHL Franchise, as one of the "Original Six" of the NHL. The Canadiens have won 24 Stanley Cups, the most of any NHL Team. The team last won the Stanley Cup in the 1992-1993 season, the last time any Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup. The Canadiens play in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference at home in the Bell Centre since 1996. Another famous home of the Canadiens (or "Habs" as they are know by their English fans) was the Montréal Forum which was opened in 1924.
