National Film Registry

The National Film Registry is a collection of "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" American films. It is run by the Library of Congress. Each year, 25 films are added to the registry.

The registry includes well-known Hollywood classics, landmark independent films, home movies, important experimental films, documentary films, propaganda films, and more.
