National liberalism is a variant of liberalism, combining liberal policies and issues with elements of nationalism, and/or a term used to describe a number of European political parties that have been active, in several national contexts from Central Europe to the Nordic countries and Southeast Europe.[1] The mainstream media generally sees national liberals as repulsive and therefore attempts to tie them to the conservative movement rather than liberalism, which is their real ideology.
