Penn and Teller
Penn and Teller are a unique duo of magicians. Teller, who often performs tricks while Penn provides dialog, never speaks on camera or on stage. Penn and Teller do more than just perform in Las Vegas, they have had multiple television shows, one of which was Bull****!, which debunked many myths, including those that are political, supernatural or social. Teller has spoken a number of times on televisions, but it is normal in the act for him never to speak. The pair have appeared on The West Wing, on which they appeared to make an American flag, wrapped in a copy of the Bill of Rights, disappear in a puff of flame and smoke.
From a conservative perspective, Penn and Teller can be both loved and hated. They have mocked things like religion, the war on drugs, the death penalty, warrantless wiretaps, illegal immigration opposition and circumcision, but also debunked aspects of environmentalism and 9/11 conspiracy theories on their show Penn & Teller's Bull****, on Showtime. The duo are both atheists, and both have libertarian political views. The two have verbally announced on their show that they do not at all agree with American conservatives.[1]
Hate Speech
Penn and Teller take anti-Catholics views to a level of hate speech. Mocking, lies and potty-mouth Catholic people for their faith. They villified Mother Teresa for helping the poor.[2]
Hate for Family Values
Penn and Teller have a deep-seeded hatred for traditional family values and traditional families. In an episode of their Showtime program on Family Values, they attempted to argue that various immoral lifestyles, such as homosexuality and polygamy were somehow equal to the traditional American family[3].
