Project Muse is a subscription-based academic journals site with 250 journals from over 40 publishers. It is operated by the Johns Hopkins University Press. It specializes in scholarly journals in the humanities. The subscribers are academic libraries, which make the full text of articles available online to students and faculty. The full texts are available from the mid 1990s to the present, with no "moving wall" or blackout of recent articles, which is used by rival JSTOR.
