Why do I always think of the sack of Béziers when this sort of thing comes up? Or the Inquisition? Or the pope who had all the bells in Rome rung in celebration when he heard of the St Bartholemew's Day Massacre? Or Richard I at Acre? Or the various pogroms by whatever name we want to call them. - So we are all tarred by the same brush as our friends now? What would that make me if I had Faith? My oldest friend is gay - we met when we were 12; that's 55 years ago. He "came out" to his family and to me when we were 18. He was in a faithful relationship from 1964 until his partner died two years ago. This is the "homosexual lifestyle" I tend to think of. We live over a thousand miles apart but correspond daily. To you, Matty, I am some sort of evil who, no matter what good I do in this life should be remembered for who I am "tight" with.

That would put her in the Kingdom of God, because that is all anyone has to do. Billy Graham
I'm fine with leaving it as "(disputed)," but I tend to agree that Billy Graham belongs on this list. I think he's been used mightily, and for a while acted as a true Christian. However, he keeps moving in the wrong direction. For example, referring to Catholics and Jews as saved goes against scripture. They may be allies in many ways, but it's not the same thing. He keeps increasing the breadth of his ministry at the cost of depth, and I find it hard to believe that a true believer who is walking closely with the Lord would do this. --David B (TALK) 01:35, 29 December 2016 (EST)
