Categories on Redirect Pages - Rare Exception??

Please see our previous discussion on http://www.conservapedia.com/Category_talk:Exercise

Dear User:Wschact, while I greatly appreciate your intelligently worded and kindly polite contributions, I respectfully disagree in this particular case that the acronym (MRE -- that is a redirect page) should not have categories identical to the actual article Meal, Ready-to-Eat since someone is more likely to browse for it under the common MRE name that the long term "Meal, Ready-to-Eat".

The perhaps unwritten policy you just "formalized" in writing today doesn't always apply in my opinion. You said User:Wschact "The only content on a redirect page should be the redirect command on the first line #REDIRECTtarget article name Do not add categories on redirect pages." (http://www.conservapedia.com/Conservapedia:Editing_article_and_talk_pages#Redirects_.26_Name_Changes )

What do the Admins such as User:Conservative think about this particular case and request for precise exceptions to the newly created Conservapedia:Editing_article_and_talk_pages#Redirects_.26_Name_Changes]]?

Thank you for consider this possible exception to the new policy.

REDIRECT Meal, Ready-to-Eat

TheAmericanRedoubt 22:32, 5 January 2015 (EST) I do not understand why having the categories on just the Meal, Ready-to-Eat page is not sufficient. If an item is better known as MRE, then make an argument to move the main page. Thanks, Wschact 08:44, 6 January 2015 (EST)
