Declared Canidates

OK, so I goofed with F.Thompson. BrianCo 19:15, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Say - Wait a minute! Michael Bloomberg has not (according to his page on Conservapedia) declared candidacy either. -Additioner 20:23, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Thanks for taking Bloomberg off of the list. Now Fred Thompson is in the race, so he should be put on the list. One question. In this Template do we include candidates, who were in the race, but dropped out. -Additioner 15:43, 23 September 2007 (EDT)

If we include them, then Tommy Thompson should be included. If we don't Governor Jim Gilmore must be taken off the list. (If Brownback withdraws then he'll have to be taken off the list too.) -Additioner 20:58, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

I already took Brownback off the list this afternoon; I think I'm going to wait until he officially withdraws in Topeka tomorrow to put it on his page, though. DanH 21:00, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Might want to add in Stephen Colbert! Or not. Greg 21:17, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
He's only running in South Carolina, remember... we'd have to make a template for 2008 presidential candidates inside South Carolina! DanH 22:15, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
And he's running on both party's ticket. A clever strategy, I suppose. Greg 22:23, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Jim Gilmore has to be taken off of the list since he's already withdrawn. -Additioner 14:49, 20 October 2007 (EDT)

Chris Dodd and Joe Biden have announced that they will drop out. ThomasB 23:21, 3 January 2008 (EST)

Bill Richardson has also left the race. -Additioner 06:56, 10 January 2008 (EST)

And Duncan Hunter. -Additioner 17:31, 20 January 2008 (EST)

This race is losing candidates quickly. Now Fred Thompson is out. -Additioner 17:47, 23 January 2008 (EST)

Dennis Kucinich will now pursue his seat in the House. He should now be off the list. -Additioner 15:28, 25 January 2008 (EST)

Done. --Crocoite 15:33, 25 January 2008 (EST)

Thank you, now Edwards and Giuliani have both left the race. This is a quickly thinning race. -Additioner 20:38, 30 January 2008 (EST)

Clinton should be removed from the list now as well.--Jareddr 22:24, 23 August 2008 (EDT)

Clinton

Hillary's no longer a candidate. I would remove her name but the template is protected. Can an admin do it please? --Ampersand 17:40, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

Clean-Up

I was thinking of cleaning up the template a little to include the VP candidates and maybe indicating somehow that Obama and McCain were the eventual official canididates. For posterity if nothing else. Like this:
