Fast Food Christianity is consumer-oriented Christianity that treats churchgoers as customers and is oriented toward pleasing them rather than toward remaining true to the Gospel.[1][2] Since "the customer is always right," a fast-food Christian church waters down its message so as not to scare off its congregants (or their tithes), often taking care to rebuke only other people for their sins. The difference between fast-food Christianity and cafeteria Christianity is that the former focuses on a church's institutional distortion of God's Word, while the latter focuses on an individual worshiper's doing so.
