The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is an organization attempting to represent Palestinian Arabs in the disputed territories (West Bank and Gaza). They have used violence and terrorism to achieve their goals such as in the Achille Lauro hijacking. The organization is considered a terrorist organization by the United States government.[1] [2]
