Acadia National Park is one of the first national parks in the United States. It encompasses more than 47,000 acres of lakes, ponds, mountains, forests, and ocean shoreline along the coast of Maine. Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is the tallest mountain along the eastern coast of the United States.
