Aurora, Colorado is the third largest city in Colorado, located in the suburbs of Denver. Aurora was the location of an immense rally by Donald Trump on Oct. 11, 2024. The site was chosen to express opposition to how Democrats in Washington, D.C. had allowed Venezuelan gangs to migrate to and terrorize the city. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had been allowing criminal illegal aliens into the country throughout their administration.

In September 2024, a video that went viral captured images of young immigrant men roaming the halls of an apartment complex while heavily armed.[1] The Aurora Police Chief did not rule about a possible gang connection.

Holmes Batman movie shooting

Aurora is where James Holmes, a grad student at the nearby University of Colorado, killed 12 and injured 70 by shooting during a midnight showing of a sold-out premiere of a Batman movie. Holmes was sentenced to 12 consecutive life sentences after avoiding the death penalty because one juror who was absolutely against it (while two jurors were undecided).[2]

Mayor

Since 2019 Aurora's mayor has been the anti-Trump, liberal Republican Mike Coffman, who previously represented Colorado's 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives before being defeated for re-election in the 2018 Midterms by Democrat Jason Crow.
