Colin Hackett Kahl was the National Security Advisor to former VP Joe Biden and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East. Kahl is an outspoken propagandist and conspiracy theorist for the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.[1] The 2018 book Russian Roulette by journalists Michael Isikoff and David Corn said Kahl was part of the small Obama national security team inner circle working on Russian interference issues in 2016. “Kahl had to insist to [national security adviser Susan Rice that he be allowed to attend so Biden could be kept up to speed,” they wrote.[2]

Kahl previously worked as a defense analyst at Georgetown University, was coordinator of the 2007 Obama campaign's working group on Iraq policy.[3]

As the Biden junta tried to deflect blame from the White House for the inept planning and failures of Afghan exit, a spokesperson told Politico that “there are a number of people deeply involved in Afghanistan that both have extensive experience working for President Biden as well as significant Pentagon experience – so your chalking it up to just Tony, Burns, Jake, Finer etc. is both inaccurate but minimizes the work of some of these other individuals who have been integral to the drawdown in Afghanistan.” The spokesperson pointed to Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl, among others.[4]

In a letter to Libyan slave trader Samantha Power dated February 2023, Kahl proposed removing Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky and replacing him with Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko. The recommendation reportedly came from the Godmother of Color Revolutions Victoria Nuland. The leaked document came from the Pentagon as part of so-called Discord leaks or Teixeira documents.[5]
