The Dawn Project is an organization founded by California billionaire Dan O'Dowd, which is critical of Tesla Full Self Driving.[1]
The organization seeks to end the use of commercial grade software in systems that are very safety-critical.
It ran an expensive ad, reportedly funded by its billionaire founder Dan O'Dowd, during the Feb. 2023 Super Bowl. Elon Musk responded to it by tweeting an emoji.[2]
