Kenneth C. Griffin is a Republican political donor who is an Opponent of Donald Trump. Griffin amassed a fortune through a hedge fund, and is credited as having spent the most most on a single transaction for art: an end half a billion dollars to purchase Willem de Kooning's Interchange ($300 million) and Jackson Pollock's Number 17A ($200 million).[1] He founded Citadel, a multinational alternative investment firm, is globalist with offices in Hong Kong and London, in addition to the United States.[2]

Mostly unsuccessful in his attempts to influence Illinois politics, Griffin moved to Florida, and took back his artwork from the Art Institute of Chicago where it had been on display. He reportedly supports Ron DeSantis for president in 2024,[3] although DeSantis has not and may not announce such a candidacy.

In the 2022 midterm elections, Griffin was reportedly tied as the second largest political contributor by donating $67 million, but that lagged far behind the Leftist George Soros, who gave at least $126 million.[4] Griffin tends to support RINOs who are often unsuccessful or not influential.

Griffin is reportedly a member of the World Economic Forum.[2]
