2020 U.S. House of Representatives election in Michigan's 11th district
Bentivolio ran in 2020 to reclaim his once-held House seat.[2] However, he only managed to finish third in the Republican primary election with 21.6% of the votes cast;[3] Eric Esshaki won the nomination to face incumbent Democrat representative Haley Stevens in the November general election.
Political views
Ranked as a libertarian conservative, Bentivolio opposes abortion, tax increases, illegal immigration, and gun control.[4]
