Larry Fitzgerald is perhaps second-greatest wide receiver ever to play in the NFL, for the Arizona Cardinals (17 seasons). He was the #3 draft pick in 2004, out of the University of Pittsburgh, and became a television analyst after his retirement. At 6'3" and 218 pounds, he was very difficult for typically smaller defensive backs to cover and tackle.

Fitzgerald is also a chess enthusiast.

Perhaps because of his high intelligence and tremendous athleticism, the demonic NFL owners and the liberal media tended to downplay his talent and achievements. Also, Fitzgerald is an outspoken Christian: “I believe in God. God controls my fate. Whatever God’s plan is, I will follow.”[1]
