MintPress News, a far-left, Minneapolis-based website, promoting/linked to Iran,[1] had promoted Assad[2], "promotes anti-Jewish conspiracy theories,"[3] spreads fake news,[4] founded in 2012 by Islamist bigot Mnar Adley, formerly Muhawesh.[5]

Adley has been trying to fuse Islamism with radical left.

Adley is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Also as of September 2024, Adley’s LinkedIn profile said she had been the founder, CEO and editor-in-chief of Mint Press News (MPN) since 2011. MPN is an anti-Israel and anti-Semitic news website.

As of September 2024, Adley’s Instagram bio said: “...Antiwar activist 🍉…”

The watermelon has been appropriated by anti-Israel activists as a symbol of Palestinian "resistance" to "Israeli occupation," as it shares the Pan-Arab colors. It has been depicted in art, used on flags at protests and posted online.

As of the same date, Adley’s LinkedIn said she graduated from St. Cloud State University (SCSU) with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2009. SCSU is located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

As of September 2024, Adley’s LinkedIn said she was located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mnar Adley’s Glorifying Terrorism.

On May 25, 2024, BreakThrough News uploaded a video to YouTube featuring Adley speaking at the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit, Michigan. She spoke on a panel titled: “Every Time the Media Lies.” The conference was co-organized by PYM.

In her speech, Adley said [00:17:19]: “The fact that we are all here today shows that this is what resistance and dissent looks [sic] like right here in the heart of Empire. They thought they could bury us but we turned out to be seeds.”

Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.

In her speech, Adley said [00:26:49]: “The dissent and this tide of awakening that has taken over our streets, that has awakened our consciousness, we are their biggest enemy, and they are cracking down like no other because they know that we are winning.”
