Mr. Irrelevant

Mr. Irrelevant is the name given by the lamestream media to the player chosen last in the annual NFL draft. Most famously this was Brock Purdy in the 2022 draft, who quickly became a phenomenal quarterback when unexpectedly given the chance.

In an example of Best of the public, "Mr. Irrelevant" Brock Purdy as a rookie led his the San Francisco 49ers to the NFC Championship game (when he was then injured early in the game) in January 2023, and then to the Super Bowl in his second season in February 2024.

Purdy then often cited his faith in God along with Bible verses when interviewed by the media, to the consternation of liberals. His favorite verses are in the Book of Psalms chapter 23.
