Sam Graves, Samuel Bruce James Jr., is a Missouri politician who is currently seated in Missouri's 6th congressional district. He is most widely understood to be a do-nothing republican, his greatest accomplishment in twenty years of retaining the representative position is giving the MoDot funding for seasonal resurfacings. He is not the type of individual to stick his neck out for his constituency, rather than a lot of more prominent ones would and should. Ask any constituent about what he has done for their locality and they may only mention the fact that roads in his district are being resurfaced 3/4 of the year.

During the impeachment of Donald J. Trump, Graves released a press release via Twitter about his solidarity with the president. The heavily biased, Republican Accountability Project assigned him an 'F' grade. Though this was for voting 'No' to establishing the January 6th Commision and voting 'No' to the impeachment of then-President Trump. As of January 8th, 2022; Sam Graves has taken down an article on his official website, documenting his vote against impeachment. In May 2022, Graves voted for passing $40 billion to Ukraine war.
