Solomon Henderson (school shooter)

Solomon Sahmad Charlie Henderson (school shooter)

The 17-year-old shot two classmates at his Nashville 'Antioch' high school on Jan 22, 2025, leaving two dead and two wounded.

Henderson, a black student, expressed self-loathing for himself and for other black people in his manifesto, which circulated on various Telegram channels.

He fired 10 shots within 17 seconds inside a cafeteria shortly after 11 a.m. –– killing Josselin Corea Escalante. Josselin’s family described her as kind and loving. Henderson killed himself after the attack. One student, a 17-year-old boy, suffered a graze wound to the arm and was treated and released, while another male student sustained a facial injury but was not shot. Police did not name those victims.[1] he then turned the gun on himself. Another student died of his injuries.

Henderson's social media presence suggest a possible contact with 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who carried out a shooting at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, last month, according to law enforcement sources. "Rupnow, who went by Samantha, also died after the shooting, in which two were killed and several wounded. Rupnow's account may have been following Henderson's account at the time of the Wisconsin shooting in December, according to law enforcement sources." [2]

The shooter apparently drew his inspiration for his deadly rampage from the likes of Candace Owens and Adolf Hitler -- and he was even photographed doing a Nazi salute."[3][4][5][6]

Indeed, (though Henderson references multiple ideologies (including reference to Turkish neo-Nazi[7]), "Candance Owens influenced me above all each time she spoke," Henderson wrote [8]

In addition, fascist Nick Fuentes influenced him.[9]

"Police investigating antisemitic, anti-Black manifesto attributed to 17-year-old shooter, himself Black, who killed fellow student... The content also included a poster for the Goyim[sic] Defense League, whose members distribute antisemitic propaganda. The apparent manifesto also included an (unattributed) quotation from the manifesto of the shooter who attacked a mosque in New Zealand in 2019, in which that shooter credited right-wing commentator Candace Owens with having influenced him; security experts disagree about whether the original statement was made sincerely, and Owens has condemned that attack and its perpetrator."
