:I personally can't agree with you regarding Sanders being better than Trump.  I'm concerned that Trump has made a lot of promises he can't keep, but he really does want to "make America great again."  The problem here is that his definition of great may differ from ours.  Sanders, however, offers handouts that the country cannot afford, and which discourage productivity.  We are already hopelessly in debt, and he want to push us all the way to complete, unashamed [[socialism]].  All the while, he complains about "the 1%" while living in one of his several mansions, and filthy rich.  At least Trump is honest about his wealth, instead of hiding it like Sanders.

:On your second point, I completely agree.  The Bible refers to such things as meeting with the church and serving others as "fruits."  If the tree is alive (in Christ) is bears much fruit, but it is not the fruits which save them.  Christ saves them, and the fruits are a natural result.  These "fruits" will not be perfect, and sometimes there may be times of less productivity.  However, Christ helps us to produce them to further His will and bring some of the glory to Him which He deserves.  I am not a Roman Catholic, but from what I have seen and heard, Catholics do seem to be very works-oriented.  Correct me if I'm wrong (since I'm sure you know better than I), but "here goes." The expected attendance of Mass as an obligation which must be fulfilled, the repeating of phrases which you can't understand, and penance are all a sort of thing which must be done to assure salvation and acceptance.  Although I think him a bit too liberal of a Christian, [http://caryschmidt.com Cary Schmidt] wrote an interesting book called "done." (with the period) on the topic.  He brings out that Protestants (like myself) believe in a salvation which is already "done." Christ has died, and if trust if put in this alone for salvation, there is nothing else that must be done to secure salvation.  Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, and many cults believe that they must "do" things so secure their salvation.  They probably act hypocritically towards you because they see themselves fulfilling all the requirement (barely) while you are not.  That's how I understand this, anyway.

::About your first paragraph; I never said I'd choose Bernie over Trump, but him ''or'' Trump. I ultimately ended up voting for Trump after switching from Independent to a Republican  to vote in the NJ primary that took place a few days ago. There were other people in the GOP ticket for other offices like Bob Patterson that I preferred after vetting the candidates as much as I could, but this was impeded by a lack of information accessible on the internet.

::Originally I didn't support Trump because I was mad at him for the whole ordeal with plopping a golf course in Scotland and letting his staff members bully the people that were already living there. Granted, the Scottish government was being greedy and were the ones partially responsible for the eminent domain usage, but Trump was the spark that lit that fire.

::Its unfortunate that this is my first Presidential election that I am eligible to vote in, and I'm voting for the lesser of the 3 evils. The only thing I see in Trump is the hope that he can be talked out of poor decisions and talked into making good ones. Hillary Clinton I can't trust because she'll tell you whatever you want to hear, then go back on her word and do what she was originally going to do because she's an establishment puppet.

::Bernie Sanders is, like I said, waaay too liberal. He wants to expand the toxic Canadian-European atmosphere in this country where it just doesn't belong. The only things I like him for are his methods of raising money and the fact that he isn't and opposes Hillary Clinton. I want to believe that he has the nation's best interests at heart, but that he simply has no clue what the right thing to do is. Hillary is the bigger threat as her superdelegates assured her winning the election before the nomination process even started. (another reason why I'm a Republican) --[[User:KommissarReb|KommissarReb]]14:25, 10 June 2016 (EDT)
