:Hi, I'm certainly happy to discuss such things! So you are thinking of a tool which helps you properly format a reference before you publish it? I don't edit on WP, so I'm not familiar with how they do this. Are you thinking of bibliography formatting in general (such as [https://www.bibme.org/mla/website-citation/new BibMe], [https://www.easybib.com/mla-format/website-citation/custom EasyBib], and [https://www.mybib.com MyBib] offer) or a tool which specifically formats and fills in one of our ref templates, so you can just paste in that pre-generated template block?  --[[User:DavidB4|<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font>]] ([[User talk:DavidB4|TALK]]) 10:56, 19 May 2021 (EDT)

::Hi, I am not entirely sure what the two scenarios are... I will use an example to show what I hope to be achievable on the site. When I cite this news https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/521425-gop-senator-writing-book-criticizing-big-tech-for-tyranny on this site, my input would be

:::<nowiki>"<ref>https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/521425-gop-senator-writing-book-criticizing-big-tech-for-tyranny</ref>"</nowiki>.

::When I cite this on WP, I would switch from source editing to their relatively new "visual editor" where the citation tool automatically convert the reference to
 +
:::"Klar, Rebecca (October 16, 2020). "GOP senator writing book criticizing Big Tech for 'tyranny'". The Hill. Retrieved January 7, 2021."

::with the link attached to the report title. If I am to achieve the same on Conservapedia, I would need to first generate an entry in Zotero where the fields are automatically identified by the software, then output the entry to some document as bibliography, and finally copy-paste the line to <nowiki>"<ref></ref>"</nowiki>. This is so much of a hassle that I have never tried it. Apparently, such conversion is too cumbersome for not just me but most of our editors, therefore only a tiny number of references are formatted "properly", such as ref. 13 on [[Phyllis Schlafly]]. --[[User:Luminoxius|Luminoxius]] ([[User talk:Luminoxius|talk]]) 16:24, 19 May 2021 (EDT)
