| | :::Look, I've seen all this leftist crap during Watergate, during Iran-Contra, in the 1990s, and now. It gets old and tiresome. You need to become more inventive in this field of operational political intelligence. And it begins by educating yourself, and focusing on, issues and ideas, not persons. | | + | ::::Your assumption that I was watching the Clinton administration play out in real time and fawning over it all is totally incorrect. I was born in 1995. When Clinton was running things (into the ground), I was watching Sesame Street and playing with Thomas the Tank Engine. No, I adopted what you call a "Clintonism" during the Obama years. And I didn't learn it from Democrats. I learned it from people commenting on Breitbart about how Graham, McCain, Rubio, etc. were RINO traitors for supporting the "Gang of Eight" amnesty bill. |
| | + | ::::From 1995 to 2006 I was apolitical. I didn't care who was President but assumed that Republicans were better than Democrats because my parents said so. From 2007 to 2012, I was a Bush-style neocon. From 2013 to 2016, I was a Cruz-style conservative. From 2017 to 2018, I was a Trump-style conservative with some neocon tendencies (some which you yourself witnessed during those years). And since 2019, I've been a right-wing libertarian populist. When I first registered to vote in 2013 I did so as a Republican, but I became an independent in mid-2020 because by then the GOP had convinced me beyond a reasonable doubt that they had not learned a thing from the so-called "mistakes" it made during the Bush years. I felt disenfranchised then, and I still feel that way now. |
| | + | ::::I am where I am today because I am tired of being constantly betrayed by career politicians who vote for every destructive policy imaginable, and then play the "left-right/Democrat-Republican" card to get votes, all the while bringing out the worst in all of us. And I am where I am today also because these betrayals have led me to go down rabbit holes most conservatives are too afraid to go down.--[[User:Geopolitician|Geopolitician]] ([[User talk:Geopolitician|talk]]) 17:26, February 21, 2022 (EST) |
