::::From 1995 to 2006 I was apolitical. I didn't care who was President but assumed that Republicans were better than Democrats because my parents said so. From 2007 to 2012, I was a Bush-style neocon. From 2013 to 2016, I was a Cruz-style conservative. From 2017 to 2018, I was a Trump-style conservative with some neocon tendencies (some which you yourself witnessed during those years). And since 2019, I've been a right-wing libertarian populist. When I first registered to vote in 2013 I did so as a Republican, but I became an independent in mid-2020 because by then the GOP had convinced me beyond a reasonable doubt that they had not learned a thing from the so-called "mistakes" it made during the Bush years. I felt disenfranchised then, and I still feel that way now. | ::::From 1995 to 2006 I was apolitical.
