:Again, it's all programmed. Kyiv is losing public support from the West, and the soldiers and public are demoralized. So they have to release these figures in response to the latest CNN poll on American popular support for funding.
:All along, on virtually everything, Kyiv and the West have used projection - ascribing to Russia their own actions and results. There is solid evidence of 260,000 Ukrainians dead and wounded, maybe even twice as much; some now are saying Ukraine has in excess of 200,000 dead. Whatever the kill rate, multiply by 3 or 4 the casualties, most of which are permanent and will never return to combat.
