'''Joe Burrow''' is a quarterback in the [[NFL]] who led his [[Cincinnati Bengals]] to a surprise appearance in the [[Super Bowl]] in early 2022, in only his second year after being injured in his first season.  With only two years left on his rookie contract, plus an option year available to the Bengals to extend it, Burrows is expected to sign one of the biggest contracts ever in sports.<ref>https://brobible.com/sports/article/joe-burrow-comments-second-nfl-contract-revealing/</ref> In late 2023 he had a ligament tear in his wrist that forced him out of the remainder of that season, which is why the Bengals were not a factor in the 2023-2024 playoffs.
