To put it politely, a researcher needs to understand what we mean by [[historical reasoning]]. Ben Gurion, and others, were acting under threats and coercion in the best interests of their people. Some might call that "collaboration" or "collusion", under duress however, hoping to avoid all-out war and the eventual outcome that occurred in the 1940s. It wasn't voluntary "cooperation".
