Newt Gingrich (born 6/17/1943) is a conservative politician. Gingrich served as Speaker of the House of Representatives, and is generally credited with being the mastermind of the morality-based Republican Revolution of 1994. The conservative politician is now thought to be positioning himself for the 2008 presidential race, where he will likely be a good conservative alternative to liberal Republicans like John McCain and Rudy Giuliani.
