Joshua is commonly believed to have lived sometime during the late Bronze Age (rought 1200 BC), however as of yet there is little archeological or historical evidence to determine the exact dates of the events referred to in the Bible, and there is much debate in archeological circles over the historical authenticity of the bibical account.
