::I agree with the above (albeit somewhat old) concern, and am concerned that other parts of this read a bit like promotional material for the school.  For example, is the math program really "superb"?  The slim course offerings, small faculty, and middling Putnam finishes (most recently 99th) suggest that even "mediocre" might overstate the case.  It seems comparable to other schools its size, and inferior to even the poorer state schools.  At least some clarification of the ways in which these programs are superb would be useful. --[[User:DanN|DanN]] 22:37, 25 February 2011 (EST)
