Unless I am misunderstanding some premises of the Kalam argument, it doesn't seem to actually argue the existence of any god whatsoever. Rather, it argues that the universe has a cause. Now, this can certainly be extended to argue that there exists a god, but an additional premise must be added that "a god is defined as the creator of the universe".
