I've largely cleaned up and rewritten this article, but I think it should be renamed to Bay of Pigs Invasion. Arctic Nation 16:21, 17 May 2007 (EDT)

I have placed most of my contribution to the Wikipedia page here. At present I am banned from Wikipedia apparently because extreme left wing contributers were unable to refute factual data presented. Not yet satisfied with presentation here so will continue to edit, El Jigue 6-10-08

Kennedy altering the plan for reduced cuban air support

I've got a great reference where Barry Goldwater enumerates the changes to the plan Kennedy ordered(reducing the Cuban bomber force), and blames these changes for the plan's failure. It's from his 1970's Autobiography. Should I stick it in?Keysersoze 23:49, 3 October 2010 (EDT)

Deep state

  • Apparently the Deep State had alerted Castro beforehand, so he had his troops waiting there to massacre the freedom fighters.

Ahh, not really. The deep state plotted the invasion, and when JFK removed air support, the deep state murdered Kennedy. At least that is the consensus of most historians. RobSFree Kyle! 16:12, September 26, 2021 (EDT)
