To me, such is rather excessive. If the point is to stop a suspected troll from bad edits, blocking them for a week only means that the discussions and having to deal with them is merely delayed for a week. Yes, but the lesson learned by casual observers and good faith editors is do not ask for help or guidance, you only risk getting blocked without explanation. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 11:46, 13 January 2021 (EST)
