Don't know why it was posted or who he was, but is there an objection to the entry as encyclopedic? Entries about other Nazis are in every encyclopedia and history book.

1. The article is to benign. That can't be helped, as Schweter disappeared during or after the WWII, and all sources about his life are from nazi archives like the "Verzeichnis der Mitglieder des Reichstags". We do not know anything about the specific crimes he committed.
2. Was he a criminal? I'm sure of it: he was a career nazi ("hauptamtlicher Kreisleiter", i.e., payed NSDAP official), member of various committees, mayor, etc. So at least, he had to be corrupt. Becoming a member of the Reichstag was an additional perk, granting extra pay, travel privileges, and the opportunity to mingle with some of the top nazis. Did he kill Jews, Polish people, or prisoners of war himself? There is no way to know. But I'm sure that he profited from such murders: a man in his position could lay hands on the spoils, the possessions of those unfortunates who were sent to die, especially as he was member of the Kreissparkassenausschusses, a regional committee with oversight about the local banks.
3. Could it be that he was the one innocent nazi, helping Jews or be member of the resistance? Well, most probably, that we would know about.
4. Can anything of the above be put in the article? No, as these are just inferences done with my knowledge about the nazi state. They are correct in general, but may not apply specifically.
5. And there are hundreds of biographies like his. It would be a herculean task to put those all up here, and try to take a look behind the quite innocent looking short biographical blurbs.
6. I now know more about Johannes Schweter than I ever wanted to know. There is no need to preserve his memory on this platform.

What likely happened to this guy is, he was executed on the spot when the Nazi regime fell. probably by a civilian mob or partisans, and his body dumped in a river. There is a remote possibility he was captured by the Russians, shipped off and died in a Siberian gulag.

He is not somebody whose memory needs to be kept alive, as AugustO rightly explains.

Okay, there is an outside possibility he escaped to Argentina or somewhere. But evidently no survivors have come forward to charge him with specific crimes. All the more reason to get rid of it. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 05:24, July 19, 2021 (EDT)
