IMO, it is extremely important to emphasize the collusion of virtually all nations of Western Europe with the Nazi regime.
Post-WWII propaganda & historians made it a point to blame everything on Germany, as if the German's were exclusive in their ideology (largely as part of Operation Gladio), and all non-Germans were "victims". Nazi ideology was not exclusive. It embraced, and still embraces, anti-Semites & Russophobes everywhere. Both cultures, Jewish & Russian, despite many longstanding, deep-seated differences, together say "Never again" in the face of Nazi threats and rhetoric. WWII was virtually every nation of Europe fighting against the Soviet Union, and not Germany alone.
As late as February 2022, a Conservapedia Admin-troll insisted (A) Nazis were exclusively German and (B) Nazis were extinct after 1945. I understand what you're saying.
- Let's remember, the anti Jewish hatred was the "crown" of Nazism garbage. [Core of Antisemitism is ancient, but Nazis have propagated an all out new flame]. Countries in Europe were easier to be conquered, via German anti Jewish propaganda. Certain nationalistic youth movements, in Poland. Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia, popped up, all infected with the new wave of antisemitism.
- Of course it was not only German actors carrying out crimes in general and the 'final solution', but it was the German machine that led everything - not just setting all in motion. By in large anyway.
- The Aryan race was a German thing, after all.
- Arab affinity with ideology of Nazis was even before Hitler became leader. As far back as March 1932:"Palestine Arabs Are with Hitler in His Enmity to Jews Says Grand Muftiâs Organ.."

- You're right . Hitler loved Islam, but hated the Arabs as a 'race,' so the Nazis tried to convince themselves that the Mufti was "not purely" Arab... Not to say that they were very consistent outside anti-Jewish obsession.
