Just curious, is CP ok with "our" as opposed to "the American?" I know I know, pro-US stance and all, but how does that jibe with the desire to sound like an encyclopedia? Not arguing, just honestly curious. Oh, and citations s'il vous plait! :) Aziraphale 03:14, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

And is it correct to say that the original purpose was exploration? I am reading a history of submarines at the moment and it all seems to centre around military purposes.
