Title IX exempt colleges include colleges that are entirely exempt from Title IX, and others that are partially exempt as to a particular issue. Usually, the exemptions are due to a religious belief associated with the college (such as not allowing openly LGBTQIA+ students to enroll or matriculate), but in the cases of Grove City College and Hillsdale College they are exempt because it declines all federal funds.

The list of entirely exempt colleges is:

  • Christendom College (Virginia)
  • Grove City College (Pennsylvania)
  • Gutenberg College (Oregon)[1]
  • Hillsdale College (Michigan)
  • Patrick Henry College (Virginia)
  • Pensacola Christian College (Florida)
  • Wyoming Catholic College (Wyoming)[2]
  • Yeshiva Toras Chaim Talmudic Seminary (Denver)[3]
